Local artist, Duncan Pass's interest in printmaking is primarily relief printing and woodcut which don't require any chemicals, meaning the process is safe and non-toxic and there's no poisonous waste to dispose of, or any need for specialist safety equipment. He employs drypoint methods as well as using chisels and drills.
Describing this print, he says:
"If you went to a local barber, there was basically one style available which was known as the "Collier's Massacre" – no matter what you asked for. And the barber would usually be watching racing on TV while he was cutting your hair!"
