Framed Collection of Vintage Prints

These vintage ornithological prints by John Gould were brought to us for framing by Antique & Unique whose premises are in Tideswell, Derbyshire, not far from here.

Taken from a Swedish portfolio, Tropical Birds, published in 1955, the prints are all in excellent condition, having been protected inside the book.

We framed them using a deep khaki window mount and a classic black painted picture frame moulding which has both an inner and outer ridge with a metallic foil finish - which together set the prints off beautifully.
