Framed Antique Chinese Drawing on Rice Paper

This delicate piece of antique artwork painted on rice paper was brought to us for framing by a collector in 2016.

As it was a triptych i.e. each piece was directly linked to the next, we cut a Vanilla window mount with three apertures very close to each other.

For the frame, we chose a moulding with a simple profile, and added a dark stain by hand to match the colours in the artwork.

Museum-grade glass - with 99% UV filter - will prevent this valuable piece from fading over time whilst also offering unparalleled clarity - with reflections reduced to less than 1%.
