Framed Antique Oil Painting of a Pig Named Irma

Our customer wanted a fairly substantial frame in order to make an eye catching display for this wonderful piece of vintage folk art painted in oils on canvas.

After looking through various options, we eventually chose this wide black reverse profile moulding combined with a gold painted slip moulding.

Our Framers used spring clips to hold the stretched oil painting in place rather than inserting screws directly into the back of this antique canvas.
