Framed Limited Edition Print by Dan McCarthy

This vibrant limited edition print by Dan McCarthy - called Long Days - was brought to us for framing in 2017, and really makes a statement.

McCarthy, who was born in Hawaii, and grew up in California, cites the colors of these landscapes as a lasting influence on his work.

To offset the bright orange colour we chose a metallic grey painted picture frame moulding from our Zen collection - 411433.

Adding layers is a great way to enhance a piece of artwork so we cut a triple window mount from Conservation-level mountboard, with the middle one being a little thicker than the other two for an added subtle detail.

Using the same colour mounts but in different thicknesses adds interest but doesn’t distract from the artwork’s impact.
