Framed Limited Edition Cyanotype Print

This limited edition botanical print by English artist, Jill Welham - a printmaker and photographer based in the Scottish Highlands – was brought to for framing in 2024.

With allium seed heads collected from her garden, Jill creates her unique artwork using cyanotype printing - an early photographic technique also known as the sun printing process which produces delicate white silhouettes against deep indigo blue backgrounds.

We framed it using a white painted dual profile moulding from our FSC® certified Provence collection - accented with metallic foil to highlight the colour of the flowers - and finished it with anti-reflective glass to virtually eliminate any reflection whilst filtering out 70% of UV.
