Our customer grew up at Number 16 and, having very fond memories of his childhood there, decided to bring the house number and front door key to be framed as a reminder of that time.
We chose a barefaced wood moulding which was deep enough to hold the key and block of wood, and made bespoke spacers in the same colour as the snow white undermount for the inner edges of the frame to stop the glass touching the items.
The key is hand stitched in place to avoid using any harsh adhesives which may affect the colour of the metal over time.
What a great and unique way to protect and display a lovely memory!
