Collection of Antique Keys Framed

We framed this collection of antique keys - one of which was the original key to the front door of our customer's house in Switerland - in 2015.

We chose a simple black moulding with a bevelled profile - to draw the eye in to the centre - deep enough to accommodate the keys so they didn't touch the glass once they were in place.

We then hand stitched the keys onto a Snow White undermount to create contrast, and added a window mount in the same colour along with a second mount below it in a dark grey colour for extra definition.

Our customer was very pleased with the result, as were we.
