Show/Hide Glossary & Help

  • Colour: The main (primary) colour of the moulding. Many mouldings have multiple colours in the finish.
  • Profile: The overall shape of the moulding.
  • Moulding Width: The width as measured when looking at the moulding face-on.
  • Moulding Depth: The depth as measured from the wall (not including fixings) to the front of the moulding.
  • Rebate Width: The width of the lip that overlaps the artwork/mount edge - typically 4-6mm.
  • Rebate Depth: The depth of the recess in the back of the moulding where the artwork and boards fit.
