This impressive set of three watercolours were brought into us for framing by a lady from a musical family who'd been gifted them by a friend.
She wanted to get them protected and displayed in frames so she could hang them on the walls of her club.
They're also a great example of when "less is more" as all they needed was a simple, fairly slim black frame and glass; window mounts would have thrown the artwork off-balance.
Our customer chose a great picture moulding for the frames from our Lancaster collection - pine with a black wire brushed finish, and just the right width so they weren't "too heavy" for the pictures.
Anti reflective glass to finish gave the display unparalleled clarity - reducing reflections to less than 1% - and will help to protect the watercolour paint from fading over time - filtering out 70% of UV rays.
