Framed Embroidery of Norwegian Acorns

Nature is a big theme in Nordic design, and our customer found this classic-looking panel from a vintage archive full of designs from the ‘50s and ‘60s featuring trees, leaves and woodlands.

Once the embroidery was finished she brought it to us for framing just before Christmas 2024.

With its mix of blues, greens and lemon-coloured threads, she chose a window mount and frame in elegant "winter whites", and decided on anti reflective glass to finish. This gives the picture unparalleled clarity - reducing reflections to less than 1% - and helps to protect it from fading - filtering out 70% of UV rays.
