This delightful embroidery was brought to us in 2024 by a lady who'd stitched it as a student back in the 1990's but hadn't yet got round to having it framed! We love it when our customers send us photos of their frames "in situ", and from these photos we can see this embroidery is now finally up on display in our customer’s home!
For the frame design, we chose a clover pink window mount beneath an aubergine top mount, with the 5mm reveal of colour beneath creating just the right amount of definition.
To this we added a black picture frame moulding from a collection which has a distressed finish with lighter tones in it - a great choice when you're wanting the same colour as the other frames you own, but when a solid colour might appear "too heavy" for the artwork.
We frame to the standards set by the Fine Art Trade Guild – of which we are proud members – meaning everything is reversible so that, should you wish to, you can remove your embroidery from its frame, undamaged, at any point in the future.
Our Framers glazed the display with anti-reflective glass which filters 70% of UV and reduces reflections to less than 1%.
If you have an embroidery you'd like to have framed please visit our Showroom in Derbyshire on the edge of the Peak District for a no obligation quote.
