Framed Embroidery of Geometric Pattern

Here's an unusual shaped embroidery with a geometric pattern which was brought to us to frame in 2015.

Having put so much time and effort into the artwork, our customer wanted to turn it in to a unique display for her walls.

We frame to the standards set by the Fine Art Trade Guild – of which we are proud members – meaning everything is reversible so that, should you wish to, you can remove your cross stitch from its frame, undamaged, at any point in the future.

After stretching and lacing the embroidery around conservation-level mountboard, our Framers then designed a bespoke double mount to fit its stepped outline using a gold foil mount underneath a terracotta one.

They then created a frame from this stunning gold painted deep fronted molding from our Zen collection - 431432 - and glazed it with anti-reflective glass which contains 70% UV filter to prevent fading, and reduces reflections to less than 1%.

Finished with D-rings and string, postioned so that the frame hangs in a diamond-shape!
