This delicate pencil drawing of a wren on a reed, by British artist and sculptor, Ian Greensitt, was brought to us for framing in 2024.
Before creating his limited edition bronze and silver sculptures, Ian observes his subjects in their natural habitat where possible, relying heavily on his life field drawings skills.
Our customer initially had quite a chunky black moulding in mind for this drawing however once we’d experimented with some other options, she decided on – we think – something much more harmonious with the artwork.
The frame - pine with an oak wrap - is made from moulding from our Venatura collection.
The mount is a Conservation-level solidcore mount in sage. Click here to learn more about the Fine Art Trade Guild Standards, and the different levels of framing.
Anti reflective glass to finish gives the picture unparalleled clarity - by reducing reflections to less than 1% - and helps to protect it from fading - by filtering out 70% of UV rays.
If you have a drawing or sketch you'd like to protect and display in a frame fill in this form for a no obligation quote.
