This small picture of a wolfhound drawn with ink by children's book illustrator, Jackie Morris, was brought to us for framing in 2024.
Adding a wide window mount to a small picture can really turn it into an eye catching display. We chose one the same colour as the paper but with a black core (rather than the usual white core) which gives fantastic definition to the artwork.
We then echoed that with the choice of picture frame moulding - a slim black painted frame with a simple profile, combined with a silver slip moulding inside the frame which - as it steps down into the picture - also serves as a way to focus the eye's attention on the image.
Finished with anti-reflective glass which reduces reflections to less than 1% and contains 70% UV filter to help prevent fading over time.
