Ornate Frame for Waxed Paper Artwork

This detailed piece of artwork - painted onto waxed paper - was brought to us to display in a frame from our Traditional English Handmade Collection.

Using pH neutral, conservation grade mountboard, we 'float mounted' it (as opposed to placing a window mount around it) so that the delicate edges of the artwork were visible.

We then placed a small transparent spacer between the artwork and the glass - True Vue Ultra Vue - to prevent them touching, and possibly sticking together over time.

The frame is a 2.25" Superior Swept frame finished with an antique wash to give it an aged effect.
