Coastal painting in period frame

This coastal scene painting was brought in by a very good customer of ours who wanted to frame this small painting in an ornate style with a wide profile.

We chose this 2.5" Classic Reeded frame from our Traditional English Range which are all handmade to order. The customer wanted this in a dark antique finish and we also added this gold leaf slip to make the frame slightly wider and add a final step down into the painting.

We are really happy with this project and it's great to see this style of frame on a variety of pieces.
