Framed Acrylic Painting by Lily Hammond

Derbyshire-based artist Lily Hammond painted this 36" x 48" colourful acrylic on canvas in 2017.

Working together we created an eye catching display ready for it to be shown in an exhibition at the Ashover Show - one of the country's finest annual agricultural shows.

The outer frame was made from a white stained moulding from our Coastal Woods collection - 241000127. The two inner slip mouldings were painted by Lily to match the yellow and green colours in her painting.

The artwork was stretched and mounted on a deep purple background. The moulding and slip mouldings - along with bespoke white wooden spacers - were then all assembled to create 'steps' down into the picture, helping to guide the eye towards the focus of this impressive piece of art.
