Framed Set of Three Medals

These three medals were brought in by a customer who had seen our other examples of medal framing but wanted a more contemporary feel to their display.

For medals without their accompanying mounting bar, we place two individual stitches at the top of the ribbon, and then run a loop of transparent thread around the narrowest point of each medal, to stop them from swinging side to side.

A Snow White double mount and undermount creates a feeling of space for these medals to speak for themselves. Using a thicker 3500micron board for the top mount brings an additional depth and gravitas to the display.

A simple barefaced oak moulding - 114200000 - adds a timeless look, with the finishing touch being Tru Vue® Ultra Vue glass for exceptional clarity, as it virtually eliminates all reflections.
