Framed Intricately Embroidered Stole

This intricately embroidered family heirloom belonged to our customer’s father for performing baptisms and marriage ceremonies, and was handmade by her mother.

Wanting to preserve this beautiful piece of treasured family history, our customer brought it to us for framing.

We hand-stitched the stole into position before double mounting, framing and glazing with a specialist glass that - as well as containing UV filters – also has a special coating which reduces reflections to less than 1%.

The colours of the framing materials were specifically chosen so that they would blend so well with those in the stole that they allowed the viewer to focus on the most important part of the display.
