Elizabeth Forrest Pair of Shoes

This original piece of art was created by Elizabeth Forrest, a Derbyshire-based lettering artist inspired by a love of words, combined with a passion for colour, texture and pattern.

It's called Everything Grows Old Under the Power of Time - and has the words Everything Grows Old printed on the inside of one shoe, and the words Under the Power of Time printed on the inside of the other shoe.

We were asked to make a bespoke glass box measuring 40cm x 40cm x 12.5cm from anti-reflective glass so that the piece is fully protected yet perfectly clear for the viewer.

Anti-reflective glass offers unparalleled clarity, by reducing reflections to less than 1%, whilst also helping to protect artwork from fading, by filtering out 70% of UV rays.
