We made a deep box frame for this hand painted bra using a bronze moulding and snow white mountboard, before stitching it in place so that our customer could, if they wished to, take it back out of the frame.
The piece is called 'Libido', and it was created by artist Elizabeth Forrest, who treated the bra with fabric hardener before painting it with a poem by Rupert Brooke, using acrylic and gouache.
We have framed a vast array of treasured items over the years. If you have an item of clothing you would like to preserve and display in a frame, please call 01246 554338 or email sales@bramptonframing.com
