Framed Autographed England Football Shorts

These England shorts, autographed by the entire England football team, were brought to us for framing in 2015.

Here at Brampton Picture Framing, we only offer a fully reversible framing method for items made of fabric, which involves hand stitching them in to position.

Although more time-consuming, it means this valuable piece of sporting memorabilia will be held securely in place and never slip or fall inside the frame, which is often the case when using many low-cost framing kits available online which contain just sticky pads or velcro.

It also means that an item can be removed undamaged from the frame at any point in the future, if the owner wishes, which wouldn't be the case if a low-cost adhesive had been used instead. Although a great way for some framers to cut costs, over time they can easily damage the fabric, and as a result, reduce the value of your sporting memorabilia.

Once stitched in to position, we chose a timeless white mount and picture frame moulding to ensure the shorts were the centre of attention.

One final thing to consider when framing signed items is making sure they're protected from potential fading. Although the ink from 'permanent' markers may seem to last a long time, it will quickly deteriorate when exposed to natural or artificial light.

To help prevent this, we offer UV Conservation glazing which filters 99% of harmful UV rays.
