Framed Boxing Glove Autographed by Sir Henry Cooper

This boxing glove, autographed by British sporting legend, Sir Henry Cooper, was brought into us for framing in 2015.

We’ve been framing clothing - as well as shoes - much of which has been autographed by world-famous sportspeople and musicians, since 2006.

We frame to the standards set by the Fine Art Trade Guild – of which we are proud members – meaning everything is reversible so that, should you wish to, you can remove your treasured item from its, undamaged, at any point in the future.

We created a frame for the glove by extending the rebate of a black picture moulding (with a silver inner edge) using panels of timber large enough to accommodate its depth, and then staining the panels to match the moulding.

We mounted the glove on a black background behind a dark grey window mount to add definition and guide the eye to the centre of the display .

Finished with museum-grade glass which contains 99% UV filter to protect the autograph from fading, and reduces reflections to less than 1% offering unparalleled clarity for the viewer.
