The Beatles' One album, a compilation of all their number one singles, was released on 13th November 2000 - the 30th anniversary of the band’s breakup - and this copy was brought to us for framing a few years after our customer bought it.
Firstly we cut three apertures out of a piece of Snow White mountboard: one circular, for the CD; and two square-shaped, for the sleeve and an accompanying poster.
We then created a frame using a high quality Italian moulding from our Gramercy collection by Larson-Juhl - 160790 - with a black satin-finish and a subtle silver line on both the outer and inner edge.
As proud members of the Fine Art Trade Guild (FATG) everything we frame is in line with their standards; one of which is to ensure that all framing is reversible, allowing our customer to remove the CD and poster, undamaged, from the frame at any point in the future, should he ever wish to.
A fitting display for an album which has sold over 31 million copies worldwide!
If you have a special CD you'd like to have framed visit us at our Showroom in Derbyshire on the edge of the Peak District for a no obligation quote.
