Tottenham Hotspur F.C. framed shirt

This Tottenham Hotspur FC shirt was part of the 2007/8 away strip and was brought into us by a devoted fan.

They had won the signed football shirt at a charity auction and wanted to display it in a modern way while protecting it.

We chose this simple grey frame and black undermount which the shirt was stitched to, to give this floating effect.

The glass is separated from the material with a bespoke spacer which we make with the black mount to give the seamless box effect.

As with all of the fabrics that are framed here in the workshop, our framers hand stitch them in place which means the process is completely reversible and no adhesives are used. These are the standards set out by The Fine Art Trade Guild, and the standards we always work to hear in the workshop.
