Classic oil painting framed - Gold swept frames

This classic style oil painting was brought into us by a regular customer and art collector.

Our framers stretched the canvas around custom made wooden stretcher bars and framed it in this 3" wide gold swept frame.

We wanted to choose something that was suitable to the style of painting without detracting from the colour and detail. So this bespoke ornate frame was finished in a dark antique gold colour with an antique wash to give it an ages effect.

These are all handmade to order so we can finish them in any style, colour and size.
