Baby feet and hands framed - Bespoke mounts
These baby hand and footprints were brought into us by a very proud mother. They were originally framed in four separate wooden frames, but she wanted them all in one as the children are now grown up!
As they are all handmade, they are slightly different sizes and depths, so the framers had to make a bespoke multi-aperture, double mount to fit each one.
We built the back of the frame up with foam board which meant that each piece was held in place without using any adhesives and could be taken back out if needed.
We cut a bespoke double mount with curved corners for each child's footprint and handprint, and ordered personalised silver plaques to go underneath each one.
As there were already a lot of colours in the artwork, we chose a simple white wooden frame (ref: 473000127) and off white mount which works really well with the thin line of grey bottom mount.
There was a lot of work that went into this frame and we're very happy with the result!
