Alphabet Embroidery - Framed sample

This fantastic sampler was brought into us by a customer who had been working on it for some time, and now it was finally finished - wanted to display and protect it.

The needlework is fairly traditional, so we went for a simple gold frame with detail on the inner side.

We combined this with a neutral light grey mount (code 8030) which compliments the artwork and separates the two sections of detail. It's important that the frame is not a distraction from the artwork so we often spend a long time with each customer finding the right frame and trying different options.

All with all needleworks it has been hand stretched and stitched in place so no harsh adhesives were used.
