Derbyshire Cross Stitch framed

We love the detail on this cross stitch of Derbyshire and think it looks great in this modern wooden frame.

When the customer came in they were after a bit of advice with regards to the framing, so we put together a few options for them to look at. We decided on a plain oak frame (ref: 114200000) which was then stained with a dark walnut finish.

The mounts were the second part to decide on, and we went for a double mount with a light cream on top and a Damascus Green underneath. This picked out the colours in the needlework really nicely without being over powering.

As always, our framers hand stretched the needlework and stitched it in place, so no adhesives are used next to the artwork.
