Tapestry Framing

Tapestries are a type of painted and dyed or woven fabric art. They are commonly confused with needlepoint embroidery, but instead of being woven onto a backing fabric the designs on tapestries are constructed from scratch in the weaving of the base fabric itself.

They are traditionally seen as hangings, but many people prefer to frame them to preserve the fabric and to make it fit into whatever environment they choose

We framed the above, a valuable African tribal dress above to the highest standards. The frame was 3x1 meters!
